I developed the Refire 2022 brand refresh, including pitch decks, venue posters and social/promotional collateral. After existing solely online, in 2022 Refire visited four cities across the United States, inviting local bar community members, changemakers, and activists to join in on an intimate live studio audience experience. Members of the studio audience were able to engage directly with the speakers—both on and off camera—in an effort to apply the issues and solutions being discussed to each city.

Chicago Poster

Working from the original branding, I carried the periwinkle over, but made it a secondary color along with a deep red. The new central color was an indigo/blurple that would stand out on its own and on stage. The client had also rebranded recently, so I utilized one of their main fonts for headlines.

Stage Dressing

Since this event was transitioning from digital-only to a physical series of events, and the budget was tight, we needed somewhat minimal stage branding that could be transported. We had the Refire logo cut out of wood and painted blurple to have on stage as a secondary focus and easy visual touchpoint. A custom gobo light was also made with The Blend's logo that could be used for backdrops at a variety of The Blend-sponsored events.

Selection of Promotional Social

I made several social posts showcasing the host and rotating guests. Between this and the venue posts I introduced a Bold Ideas Halo graphic element to feature on headshots, emphasizing the mental labor and thoughtfulness of the solutions highlighted by the talks.

Menu Shot

Following the discussions, members of the studio audience were treated to Beam-Suntory cocktails and mocktails, necessitating menus, wayfinding, and screen displays. The events were also reposted online later in the year
